At work someone brought me thier cell phone and said it didn't work and they wanted a new one. So I took the phone apart and the inside was wet. So I questioned the lady and she finally told me she dropped it in the toilet. @*!* !**@ If I would have know this before, I would have had her throw it away and just ordered a new one. So I dried out the phone and waited a week and gave her back her NEW toilet phone.

If your phone gets wet, remove the battery, take the cover off and let it completely dry (hours)it will be fine.

I would recommened this new cell phone case however:

Unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof.
This case is NATO codified and tested to MIL C-4150J (Military Standard), IP-67 (Ingress Protection) and ATA (Air Transportation Association). Unconditionally Guaranteed ... forever.

I dropped my old phone in the dogs water bowl a year or so ago and got a replacement. Left the old one in my truck for several days during the summer to dry it out and now it works great. Extra smart phone = bonus

HAHAHAHA! I'm sorry But you dropped it in coffee after you dropped the old one in coffee, then held it out the window and dropped it again.... Was it a bad hair day too?

Get a belt clip and clip it to the visor or something.

You could do what a female friend of mine does:

Put the phone on vibrate and stick it between your legs against the seat. The phone is out of harms way, you know where it is, and you get an added "special" bonus whenever someone calls you!

Well, they laughed at her when she went to the store again. I think they're all on a first name basis now. They GAVE her a phone to KEEP while she waits on the replacement. That's right, she doesn't need to return this one.

Hot married chicks that leave wedding/engagement rings home have all the luck.

I just forgot to put them on after I put on my lotion. I have always spoken a lot about Ken when I go in there. "My husband is going to kill me!..yep Ken P______, put it on his bill."

They were really nice and I had the insurance on it. Sweet!

That was cool of them to give me that phone. It isn't a new one or anything but it works. I get the new Razr in a couple weeks.

Glad you getting a new one under insurance but why is it taking so long. Are they back ordered? When I had mine replaced you couldn't find them locally but had the new on in two days.

CP, Before you destroyed the previous Razr, did you like the way it performed compared to other phones - ie reception? Are the items like text messaging, pictures, video, good? Reason I ask is I'm thinking of upgrading from the flip phone model just below the Razr. I've heard the Razr's are kinda fragile - although I don't know of any phone that could take the beating you put them through.

Also make sure to check that they are still going to cover you. When I had my MPX replaced they said that because of the cost of the phone they were not supposed to insure it in the first place and would not cover it again. Unless the amount is off, I usually don't even look at my bill but noticed months later that they were still charging me the $5/mo for the insurance

A friend of mine switched to a Black Razr recently and has not been too happy with it. May just be the fact that he had a Smart Phone before and misses the features but he has had some issues. I think he has already had to have it replaced due to problems though.

He did drop his getting out of his H2 and it was fine.
Of course he wasn't driving at the time and doesn't have a 6" lift on his

I see a definite pattern here, CP should not be allowed to interact with, touch, look at or in any other way have contact with anything that has a resemblence of technology associated with it with out the written consent and direct supervision of KenP.

That includes your computer and the H2.
Sorry, but drastic measures are neededin Drastic times
