Well, I've had it for almost 24 hours now and I absolutely love it and so do all the people who have seen it. Everything is great so far EXCEPT for my rattle. It seems that there is a small support rod on the front fender flares by the side marker lights that helps to support the flare. Well, apparently that rod isn't connected to anything on my drivers side so the flare flexes and rattles when driving. I'll be making a trip in to get that fixed in the next couple of days. Hopefully it is painless. But like I said, I love everything else.

I think kids watch the Hummer H3 commercials more than adults. When I pass a car with a kid in it, I usually hear, "Hey, it's an H3."
Man, I love this truck!!

Buck-
I heard that today driving down the street from a kid walking with his parents after I passed I heard him yell "hey there is an H3!!" That along with the lady giving me a thumbs up going down the highway and the guy who almost wrecked his new Saab staring at the H3 this morning were great.
I'm coming from a Jeep Wrangler, so I miss the wave, but the attention from everyone else is making up for it.

I think you are right about the ad campaigns appealing to kids. In the past three weeks I think I've met all the kids from the neighborhood while I'm out cleaning the H3.
One little girl and her friend, had to be about 8, asked if they could see our car and then said "This is the new Hummer, it's a first year right?". Kinda cute ... and kinda creepy.

Cradle robber.
Congrats on the H3! I have the same problem on the passenger side with the fender. It's way loose, but that doesn't stop me from loving the hell out of my H3!

Watch out Mini. You don't want to be stalked by neighborhood watch.
That would creep me out as well. I have heard 8 year olds talk about putting on too much weight.

Thanks all for the congrats. I really love it and it is amazing to drive it around and get so many "looks." I bought it cause I always wanted a HUMMER and I really like the H3, all the other stuff is just a bonus in my book.
Too all of you -> Enjoy the ride while you can.
