Default XM Radio = no bass w/ Y91 TNR NAV 05

Why is it that I have to jack the bass up on XM Radio, but if I liste to FM, the bass sounds great?

I have the Y91 package but do not see any special buttons or options for the sound stage people talk about either

Because the sound quality of XM radio is absolute crap, my last 2 Acura cars have been XM equipped as well as both H2's....and I cancelled it after the free trials..... cant believe they actually pitch that its digital quality sound..... 8 tracks have better sound.

Does anyone know about these different sound settings? All I have are bass, mid and treble controls. Where is the hidden microphone?

+1. You have to "adjust" to the sound quality and switching between satellite and FM or a CD is very disappointing. Without Howard on satellite, I would not have satellite radio. There is also a trade off in sound quality between CDs and iPod tracks, but that it is not as bad.
