trying to get the fan clutch off. what tools do i need to get the clutch and fan off the water pump. is it something i can rent from autozone? also, anyone know the exact size of the nut that holds the fan clutch to the waterpump (its huge!)? thanks guys!

You can buy the special tool at Napa for about 40 bucks. It comes with the pulley holder and wrench, just ask for the GM size, not the Ford. I believe the size is 34mm. The pulley holder can be fragile if you don't get a good one, the pins on the Kent-Moore version ALWAYS shear off, the Napa one requires you to use a couple bolts, #10-32 I believe, into the holes as anchors.
