I did check to see if this has been posted before........

I think there must be something missing, like a bigger truck?

Not sure, but I think the driver had a heart attack. I heard it all started on the interstate and ended up here after several impacts.

This is a pic of the H2 that was crashed by the Hummer dealer in Alaska - just from a different angle than I have seen posted before.

http://www.adn.com/alaska/story/1672787p-1789726c.html

And you are right - there were "a few" other cars involved.

I know I've seen this image before. I believe the stories goes something like this...
The person was a dealer on his way home, and had some kind of attack. He actually ran into 3 or 4 other vehicles before he went head on with this pickup truck.
The good part was, no one was killed in this accident.
So yes, Hummers are meant to take a beating!

Thanks! Thats the info I needed, a friend sent me that picture. I replied asking him where the big truck is that the H2 hit first, because that pickup did not cause all that damage. I guess a van and 4 others verify my suspicions.

"Rodney Udd, who owns the Hummer of Alaska dealership in Anchorage, was treated at and released from Providence Alaska Medical Center on Monday after he drove his Hummer through a red light, hit two vehicles and then sped down the road, where he hit two more vehicles, police said. "

And if you read the story, you will find that two of the other vehicles he hid slammed into other cars, bringing the total to seven damaged vehicles.

One of those things that would have been interesting to see happen for sure.

Mac, it is obvious the first and last ones are of the same vehicle. What the Hell happened? Truth only please.

I prefer jeeps that run into Hummers. You all remember this one.

Just finished watching "History of the world." That was a funny one, gotta go rent "Blazing saddle." Forgot about that one, that fireside scence was a classic. I loved Mel Brooks.
Both black photos are same H2, but I think the junk yard moved it. No story, HeeHaw posted them a year ago. The Jeep rearended H2 one was our member AZ. Here it is.

Our member Peter was one of the first one to rolled and totalled a Hummer H2. His insurance company gave him a brand new one, see, you really don't need to shoot any vandal, your insurance company will take good care of you, sometimes, not all the time.

A note about that Alaska accident. The driver is the Hummer dealership owner, H2 ran over and into several others autos before it did a head-on with that truck. The newspaper claimed he had a heart attack. The front end did exactly what it was designed to do, crumbled for safety. See the passenger compartment is in solid shape, if everyone has seatbelt, everyone will be okay. We need to point that out to people who don't know how to read this photo.

The first pic in the post (Alaska wreck) also happened in or about August 2002. It's old, old. You can also see it at several Anti-H2 hate sites.

As for the other wreck pics -- most have been shown before. Mac just likes to save them. This is also one way he keeps his posts up.

PhilD, I was just trying to find the info on the crash with out spending more than 10 or 15 minutes searching. Meanwhile avoiding the "blatent repost" tag & criticism that usually goes with it.
