I am searching for the best performance from an intake system. There are options from a $39.00 K&N to $300.00 plus for the SMA intake which boasts 14 HP gains. I just upgraded the exhaust and I need the intake to balance it out. Any advice is welcome...

I would recomend spending the $39.00,it turns out that the airaid unit lets in more hot air.Get the K&N and just use stock air box. There was a post somewhere about this same item.

If the AirRaid is installed correctly, ( 15 minutes at most) it is well worth it. It almost doubles the area in the factory airbox and unlike reported previously, brings in the air from the same place as now, just in higher volume. It extends the airbox to the hood and seals it giving you much larger volume of air available. I installed it and it makes a very noticeable improvement.
