Default skid plate

I would like to put my stock front skid plate back on my rig. It is lifted 7.5 inches on 39.5x13.50r17. I know I would have to do alot of modifing to make it work but I was woundering if any one has done this yet and if anyone has any suggestions

Default Re: skid plate

Just get a jig saw with a metal blade, cut just under the H2 emblem strait across. it will then be light enough to use just the three bolts in front of the plate. You can also drill a hole in the center toward the bottom of the skid plate for more support because there is a bracket on the truck that has a hole for a bolt.
thats what I did. and it works. Just dont Fu@$ up the skid plate. good luck
