Traded in Got the X. Mods Starting now....
Ok here is the scoop, I have now just purchased my 8th Hummer. I went with the X this time simply for the color and the way I envision the mods to look. My dealer had a set of Tactical Wheels so I traded my 18" Ugly X ones for them. 35'S are on there way Toyo Open Country M/T (again) :-). I already started to de-bling the ride but on the X its tought (SO MUCH BLING)  . I also Took off the REAR TIRE monstrosity (FOR SALE $600 FREE SHIPPING). I had a thread going to trade my X Brushguard for a SMA but no biters yet. Hopefully soon. Hood handles are on and Eaton locker goes in next week. here are some inexcusable driveway pics but beggars cant be choosers. enjoy and I will update as I get the mods completed.

Drove the Alpha as well I like the Flame Red Color (SLightly Orange).
However for the Money and LAck of goodies in the Alpha I will stay with My Escalade for Power :-)
Details:
Acceleration: On a Scale from 0-10 it was a 7 (For a 5000lb truck it was a 10)
PAssing POwer: 35 to 55mph: 8 on the scale
Braking: was as usual (HUmmer has great Braking Systems)10 out of 10.
Engine Compartment was Clean and Mean. The Engine was not as PACKED in as I thought it would be.
Interior in my opinion could have been a bit more "HUmmer" more like the H2 is what I expected. The Badging was really the only changes.
All in all its a great truck and if you tow its even better now 6k cap. Great Truck but for the cost (NICELY EQUIPPED) you may as well get an H2 IMHO.

The alpha is not for me. for the same money they had a 05 SUT loaded with only 25k on it. 13/16 is too low for me, the extra 3 mpg helps and the truck was heavy feeling. power great, 08 front sucks, tourque great. I give it an 8. I will keep the 07 and look at the H4 in a few years or a used H1 someday.
