Anyone else have a gas H1? They were produced for about a year to the best of my knowledge 95-96... anyone know for sure?

I bought a 95 a few months back, it through a rod last week, getting a new motor this week... not cheap, but much cheaper than a new diesel, thats for sure.

Anyone know how many were actually produced? I have heard from some there are only about 100 gas ones made, and others say less.

check Chuck Kopelson's site for all things hummer (http://www.flashoffroad.com). He states that in the years since '92, there have been 618 gas powered hummers built. Around 10,000 total civilian models as of the end of '03. The real gem to own is the 2000 slantback -- only 39 made and a damn nice looking truck.
