Everything is connected however I can't seem to find the XM data line which I need to cut and then conect to the neo ion box. My radio has XM but no navigation. The manual says the XM data line connects from the radio to the XM reciever but I cannot see any thing on the back of the radio. Just out of curiousity I tried listening and on XM1 you can hear a faint xm signal while the ipod is playing. Thanks in advance.

have you found your XM receiver somewhere inside your console? It should be some kind of metal box in there with a proper label.

Perhaps the GM service dept. would know exactly where the box is.

For your sound problem, what are your settings on your dipswitch on the Neo Ion?

Mine works, but I don't have XM (although it shows XM1 and XM2). Also, I am currently having a problem where after setting the dipswitch the unit works fine until I shut the car off, remove the ipod, and then the unit does not work when I reconnect. Company is mailing me a new unit.

Hey GopherH3....I had the same problem as you. I just returned my Neo ion unit. I have the factory XM unit and did hook up the XM data cable and still had XM bleeding into the ipod option. Also when I switched to just listen to XM the radio it would cut out. I got fed up and returned it. I don't have the directions for the ion unit anymore but it should have the position where the data wire is located on the XM unit itself.
