Need some help and direction. Electric or hydraulic? What size? What mount? Accessories? Brand?

I just discovered a new money pit!

Considering how weak the power steering is on my H2 I went with Electric. Warn 9K and I beefed up the multi mount cradle.

I do realize this winch would not be enough to get me out of a real tough spot ie:self recovery in deep mud (even multi parting the line) but I have seen them work well in assisting on a tough hill climb.

Hyd. winches work well but no power if the engine wont run, so thats an issue also.

Over all a 12K Hyd. winch would be the best IMHO for a serious work horse but would require alot of work (bumper and such) to mount.

Ill wait till someone works out the details and brings a good kit to the market before I scrap (or do a permanent rear mount) to mine.

I installed the Partiot 9500, on a warn cradle, with a wireless remote.
