Humm, if it is Delphi, is it 145 amp. You could likely take that to a local shop that builds alts for limos/abmulances and have them gnarl it up to say 200 amps or 230. Make sure they do diodes, stator, regulator, etc all heavy duty. It will probably run you about $150 but it will be bulletproof and you know it will fit just fine

Nice battery setup!
Did you have to do anything special to mount them like that?

I just took out the stock tray, removed the side studs from one of the yellow tops, and dropped them in. I fabbed a quick bracket to hold them until I can have my welder make a fixed one.

We sell the red and yellow tops from Optima. I believe the yellows are around $100 ea. Tough for even three of them to keep up with the current your system can draw--you should have a capacitor bank of some sort and a beefy alt to handle the demands.

ya i just got my truck back from the stereo shop i forgot to ask the cold crankin amps on the battery but it is huge like 2 regular bats. i also have a 5 farad(sp) capacitor. and my battery meter just moves back and forth when the base hits for a long time. i am only runnin 1450watts of JL. if you try to power thoes subs with a stock alt. im sure it wont last long.

I think 145 amp is largest Delphi makes. Aftermarket parts can build that alt up to 200 or even 300 amps reliably. If your volt guage drops a bit or the lights dim when you are listening to system, you should upgrade it or the batteries or both (I think you mentioned that you had aux batteries--if so then get yourself a multi-farad cap like Fosgate or Phoenix gold makes).

thoes amps used to be real good but i couldnt tell you if they still are. im not into it that much anymore. but i can tell you your gonna need more power to push thoes 12s im gonna guess at 300watts per 12 min. but probably best at 400watts.

The regular headlight hids are here: http://www.xenondepot.com/product.php?product_id=37e:
The drls are converted over to hid using a standard foglight and a 9006 bulb.

Humm This, Phoenix gold amps are definitely not what they used to be. I would be looking at JL, Kicker, PPI, Fosgate, and if you want to go all the way, look at the Zapco 9.0C. That is bar far the most powerful amp I have ever dealt with!!! One of those amps can easily put out over 4000 watts, but you must upgrade your alt as they draw intense current!! I would say two or three of those for 12 subs and they will here you in the next state!

Man, you drive a rig like that with that badass enclosure and now you're on a budget!!! lol You could use 2 of the Zapco amps (yes, they cost over $1k ea, but NOTHING else will come close to the power and damping ability of the 9.0 period). They are also insanely low as to the load they can handle; we have run them down to 1/2 ohm no problem and no overheating. PPI is precision power (now owned by DEI) and their newest amps have taken on a lot of the abilities of their old school offerings. If you do connect 4 subs to one amp, just be mindful of the load (ohms) and the ratings of the amp you choose.

Hey Alec, would that qualify as a 'fissed'?

I would say the best bang for the amp buck would be the Kicker 1200.1--2 of those would also provide ton of power for your woofage.
