Mike, I may be missing something but why couldnt you just remove the driveline(slip it out) push a rag into where the yolk came out, and return on the front end?

is wellsville easy?
it's as easy as you want it to be...lol
seriously...
I have taken stockers thru there without any problem, yet have seen hardcore guys have problems...
it's the best place in this area that I know of...

I've never been to the badlands, but imo, wellsville is better than paragon... (unless all you want is huge rocks...lol)

what will you be bringing? if you have a locker, you will be fine just about anywere at wellsville...

we didn't have anything that would properly seal the hole.
we tried to disconnect the drive shaft at the front universal joint, and that did not work...

I have got a discovery, no lockers, a little lift and a skid and diff gards. I go to school in cincy, so it wouldn't be too far, but pargon i think is too far for me to drive. I guess you are right, every place has easy and hard stuff, but what would you rate that stuff. I am not really experenced a lot, gone about 6 times wheeling on actual trail trail, but i have messed around a bunch.

N2ITNSD,

Didn't even think of duct tape...lol
I had some electrical wire I figured the copper would hold if the bungee broke...

we were just trying to get him off the trails so a normal tow truck could take him the rest of the way...

Chris,

2 clubs who are a bit closer to you than I:

http://groups.msn.com/CincyTTORA/

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...lohiojeepclub/

I'm a member of both clubs, and most of the members are cool and don't care what you drive...
(yes a jeep club is like that...lol)

what would I rate that stuff???:

wellsville is good for noobs or hardcore guys...

same with paragon, but much better for hardcore rock crawlers...

Clarion... Noob to moderate

Creek Hills... moderate to hardcore

Dorset... noob to hardcore mudder

Web Road (austintown)... moderate to hardcore mudder

niles... noob

I'm sure I've been to more places, but can't think of them off hand...

I don't know, I got crap from dayton Jeep club, they weren't nice to me when i meet them at the badlands. I was with my jeep friend. Anyway I may look at joining them. I have a friend in cincy that has been there, said he enjoyed it.

when will you be back to ohio?
we're going to a place called barkcamp the 11th...
I have never been there, but guess a couple jeeps with 31" AT's made it thru last time...

I'll be taking my taco, since it's a bit of a haul for me, and I'm too lazy to fix the runner...lol

Daton Jeep Club? ... what did they do?

you're welcome to wheel with me anytime...
I've never wheeled with a disco, so that'll be cool ;o)

happy new year,
Mike

I am coming back on the 12th. The Dayton people kept giving me crap, like why not buy a Jeep and so on and so on for most of the time. It was really annoying, but oh well.

not really, they were climbing rocks and stuff. Most had at least 35s and lockers, so they could climb it better then I could. They left when we hit the trails.
