Default metallic sound from left wheel well

hi guys,

I've been experiencing this odd metallic noise from left wheel well (only); it only happens when making left turn, at slower speeds, like 20-30mpg, on traffic lights for instance. it's more pronounced when I don't accelerate or brake, just idle. I would almost say that I can "feel" the rattle through brake pedal if I touch it. Went to Hummer dealer with it while ago, they didn't solve anything - instead they blamed my 33" tires rubbing sway bar.

Any idea? Anyone experience similar thing? It seems to me possibly related to the left brake, like something is loose there...

If dealer did not try this...
Pull the left rear wheel and inspect inside the drum of the parking brake for a problem

thanks. yes when I go to the dealer next time, I will ask them to have a detailed look at the brake area... it must be something loose there.. The sound is getting annoying. With this rattle I feel like driving a junker...

sorted it out finally - it turned out to be loose/bent front left brake shield. Undoubtedly result of my Joshua Tree NP trails trips... no metallic rattle anymore. Funny thing is that dealership couldn't sort it out until I pointed the noise source for them precisely.
