I've been converted from a lurker to an owner! Picked up a new 03 yesterday. Yellow 1SB, no toys, no chrome. I don't prefer the bling bling look. This site has been a great source of tips and I've already put some to use. Hope to learn more now that I can actually apply the knowledge.

Let me be the first to welcome you, Bevo.
If it's knowledge you seek then you've come to the right place. You also find tons of off-roading experience and technical know-how.
You'll also have a lot of fun if you don't take life too seriously like that pudwhack Frank Hewitt(you'll only refer to him as "Francis").

This is the sarcastic icon- . Learn it, live it, love it. It will take you far and make the road less bumpy.

Now your first assignment is to go out and get your H2 muddy, take pics for proof, and then wash the beast. Then repeat.

Who the heck put DRTYFN in charge of the welcoming committee???? I'm surprised he found the time between his writing poetry and designing all those Hallmark cards...

We may as well put him in charge of watching over the booze & porn

Welcome Bevo....say, you have any idea what all those button on the dash are about???

OK guys... don't have to raz each other on my account.

drty dude - goin to the dealer friday... part of the deal was to exchange those god awful tube steps for U-steps. Of course the dealer forgot about that when doin the prep. From there its off to the duck huntin blind. Gonna shoot some quackheads and break in the new ride!

Stevie - Did you mean that I should only be interested in the radio presets? I'm only plannin on using a couple of buttons this weekend - the 4Lo lock, and RW Lock, TSC2 and height control. Well, maybe the heated seats if it gets a little chilly while we're eating chicken fried Daffy washed down by an ice cold Miller McMuffin. Or would you like to suggest an appropriate vintage that would go well with fresh goose liver pate'

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Welcome!!

Glad to see another Quack Head (shameless R-N-T plug!) on board!

Took my H2 and the War Eagle down to the pond Sat. and whacked some Canadians with the Son!

Got a GOBI rack with tire carrier on top, and some cheap lights on it in the back. It makes backing the boat into the water at 3am much easier!

Good Luck with the Ducks!

Hi,

I've hauled my enclosed goose trailer (with about 20 DU, Delta Waterfowl, NWTF decals on the back!) with about 1300 full bodied snows/blues/specks/canadas across Tejas with my Hummer hunting the not-so-elusive goose. My sundry aux lights make it "daylight" when setting up the spread of dekes! Have a great hunt. Maybe someday I'll invite you to my 24 AC duck lake in my backyard!

Ha Ha Ha!!!!

Down here in SC, the bag limit on Canadians keeps going up every year! (Just like all them "Yankees", they come down here and stay year-round! hence the term="Damn Yankees!")

And yes they "taste mighty good", pan seer them, then bake them til their only slightly rare with some orange glaze........
......mmmmmmmmmm, "shoe is sum good eaten!"

Cyberaxe... headed up to Scottsboro, AL on the TN river. Ya ever get up that way? Give me a shout if you decide to make a trip.

Ric-H2... I grew up in Sugarland and have hunted Katy, Eagle Lake, and the bays since I was a Kid. Unfortunately, the job took me to Atlanta about 15 years ago and I only get home for the holidays. There never is enough time to hunt when I'm home. We have to run all over Houston to see the relatives.

Hadn't had the chance to hunt the Ten yet, but it sounds like a good excuse for a road trip!

Have fun and don't kill-em all!

Bevo, Texas has some great Duck hunting, I try and go every year. I missed out this year, but I do have a spring turkey hunt set up. Come on down and get some critters with me!

BTW, Congrats on the new H2! Get it muddy and take pics like the guys said! And try to aim away from the Hummer when you're shooting, or the guys will never forgive you!
