First, is there 2 different types of PassLock on the h3s, anti-theft and content theft? I don't have a chip or anything in my key, but I still need a bypass correct?

The info for the h3 off of directwire says to use the 556LW, I've read on here to use the 556L, is there a difference?

And, has anyone used the Compustar 2WSS-AS? I'm curious if the remote is easy to use and the buttons aren't easily accidentally pressed.

I'm either going with that compustar one, or a clifford matrix rsx 3.5, does anyone know if I can just hook up that alarm (which is also remote start), without installing the remote start on that model (compustar model too)? I'm not sure I want that right now, but if I change my mind in the future it would be nice to be able to do it. thanks.

556LW is a 556L in a white box versus blister pack. You can use the 3.5 or any other system without the remote start, but you might as well purchase a system without such features if you don't think you will use them.

Okay, thanks.

I most likely will install the remote start, probably when it gets hotter out and I actually need it. But for right now, my priority is to get something that's a 2-way remote for it, and something I can use to hook my garage door opener up to. Once you have a 2-way alarm, it's very hard to go back to 1-way remotes.
