LOL yep already sent a few grand ahead. But no bull sheet - I have tried to get my CCard Cos to work with me while abroad by calling them ahead of time and telling them which countries I will be in and after I use them once or twice they are disabled until I call them. But I cant call them from abroad as the phone charges are just stupid. So, I just take cash

What I meant when I said that is the mentality I have been exposed to which may be different fromt he norm is this - it is shameful to have to use credit cards as if you have to use credit cards to buy things that means you really dont have the money. You have to use a loan to buy simple things you "should" have cash to pay for them.

Thats what I meant not that they dont or wont its just a different mentality about "how" they use them. It is very rare for someone in the west to own outright property but in eastern europe its rare when a native does not own thier property outright.
