WTF do those numbers prove? They're nothing but simple math, and have nothing to do with those vehicles' fuel economy.

tell me about it. I had a 2500 hd until this summer. I got 11 on the highway. My h2 does just as good. Yet has 35 inch tires, awd and the list of options goes on and on.

Looks like this is based on the vehicle's gallons not mpg.

Exactly my point! It's like when some dumba$$ comes up to you at the gas station and asks you "How much does it cost to fill that thing up?" My reply: "Same as any other vehicle with the same size tank."

Not sure what this translates to. I have a small camper that holds 150 gallons of deisel. Multiply times 3.45/gallon and it comes out to a second mortgage everytime I fill up! But more importantly, it gets worse mpg then my H2. Are the greenies going to key it? NFW! They will walk past it to get to my Hummer.

Bottom line is people hate hummers.

Ive preached this for ever that all the other suv's get the same milage or worse but no one cares.

My G500 gets 11.5 mpg average on a tank.. I hold 26 gallons and run 93 octane. I dont hear **** at gas station unless its "hey man nice jeep"

My wifes Armada gets 12.5 mpg average in town and holds 26 gallons runs on 93 as well.

My dads 07 small denali he runs on 87 and get around 8 mpg in town but he has a heavy foot.

My Moms 07 Denali XL gets 11 mpg in town and holds 36 gallons.

MY 04 2500 GMC truck with the 6.0 gets around 10 mph in town and 12.5-13.0 on the free way.

My corvette holds 14 gallons and runs 110 octain which is $5.50 a gallon and will go 120-130 miles before its out..

My supra run 93 octain, 110 116 and alcohol on the free way it will get 20 mph. At the track it gets like 4 mpg but is its fun..

On a side new we have a Pontaic G6GT Its gets 19 in town with the top down.

Bottom line is you pay to drive. If you dont want crap for milage get something small.

If you want real bad milage get a 3500 GMC dulley crew cab with the 8100 and the town 18K pounds... You clap for joy when it gets over 7 mpg lol...

Agreed, the excursion we traded in had a 44 gallon tank.
