noticed a little oil under my h3 in the garage today
whats wrong with it? i already set up an appt at the dealer for monday but i wonder what the problem is. 22k miles

Oil comes from: oil pan gaskets, drain plug, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, main seal...who knows. Engine oil or tranny oil or front diff oil? Can you tell? That sucks man.

Best case scenario: hopefully your oil filter has just worked itself loose and is pissing a little. Let us know.

When I did my first oil change Inoticed the dealer left some oil in the drip pan located under the filter.There was also some oil on the underside of the skidplates. 
My following oil change it was dry as a bone.(I wiped the area and sprayed with brake cleaner)

X2. I was wondering if you had a recent oil change myself. Or perhaps there was to much oil in the engine and it blew it out somewhere....
I just hope you didn't break a seal somewhere. |

Edit: This is best case scenario. Pull out a creeper and roll on under there.

When did you last change your oil?
My last oil change they spilled some oil around the engine and the next few days after I thought I had the same problem.

I would tell you exactly whats wrong with it, unfortunatly the crystal ball I ordered from snap-on 5 years ago is still on backorder . Seriously though, maybe somethings leaking  |
