OK, I test drove another H3 and got a bit more seat time. I have to say the first time I was as giddy as a little school girl. This time I paid a bit more attention.

I have one HUGE complaint....what's up with the placement of the window switches? They are almost by my elbow and when you try and go to put them down you bump your arm on the seat back?? And I am only 5'9". My salesman was over 6' and he couldn't even grab the grab handle because his arm was too long. He admitedly told me these vehicles were sized to fit women?

Other than that I like the H3. Even with all the blind spots.

Unfortunately my wife likes the FourRunner better. I don't know if I am going to get one now.

Blind spots are an issue. The gas and brake pedals are wayyy too close together also. The sunroof is cool though.

Oh yah, I wanted to say that I actually don't think the chrome package is that bad, I really like it.

Today I pulled a 4x8 trailer with sides and a 8x8 snowmobile trailer. Backing up is very difficult because I could not see the trailers thru the rear window, side mirrors, or rear mirrors until it was turned to far. Backing into tight spaces is difficult. I had to park & get out to see where the trailer was headed. I need to either put high flags on the back corners of the trailer, or pull with the durango.

Window controls: Try driving with your left hand, and controlling the windows with your right hand. It sounds stupid, but it works!

I haven't had any problems with the gas or brake pedals, but I only wear a size 8 1/2.
