1) take out the 3 screws holding on the door panel. 1 is behind the door handle latch 2 are behind the grab handle trim piece.
2) pull gently from the lower corners to pop off the door panel and then lift up to get it out of the window channel.
3) roll the window down
4) unplug the harness and wire holder
5) remove the 4 screws hold in the mirror and try not to drop any, also hold the mirror through the window when taking out the last screw just to make sure it doesn't fall and scratch up your door.
6) move to the outside and pull the mirror off and then remove the rubber grommet.
7) put the new mirrors on and reverse the steps.

I was backing up through some willow trees for some broken Jeep to get towed out and snapped of my right side mirror. They fold back but don't like to fold forward. I Gerry rigged it back on with a hose clamp but it will need to be replaced soon. The electric controls still work.
I bet the whole mirror will be expensive$$
