I saw one of these intakes up close a few days ago at a performance shop. It looked very well made. I know Volant is much more respected than Airaid, Extrmeflow etc. so I'm wondering if anyone on the board has one on their H2 or has had experience with Volant.

Also, from what I saw, the intake looks like it would be much better than other aftermarket intakes at preventing water intrusion.

I got it installed on mine. Easy to install and gets rid of all that extra noise tubing. No noticeable increase in nose with a straight tube. The air box shields the hot air from the engine unlike the AirRaid where it has an open filter drawing hot air into the intake. The filter is like those K&N type so I'm assuming it flows better.

As far as powergains, I can't really tell as I don't WOT it often and when I replaced the stock air box, I was still braking in my engine. As such, I never WOT it until I replaced it with the Volant. Hence, I don't have a baseline to judge the HP gains.

David
