Default Technical Question.

Hi All

I have a problem with my 2006 H3, today apparently the Engine warn light went on.
So I went with Car to my Garage and there they read out the Fault memory and the mechanic said that piston #2 has some misfire.
The Mechanic was unfortunately not A Hummer mechanic therefore he was not so sure what to say he only mentioned the ignition coil might be the problem.
Now the Engine Warn light went off!
Did anyone had a similar problem with aH3 and if what was the reason and of course the solution?
Thanks for the Help
Damiano

moisture in the coil is common... pull the coil and blow dry the coil and plug tube well .......

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but it sounds similar to when my wife's H3 cylinder head needed to be replaced... Here is a good thread on it. You have to sort through the banter but theres some good infromation in there.

I hope you get it resolved.

Thumbs up Re: Technical Question.

Hi
I just picke up my H* after it has been the whole week at the dealer (I was on a bussines Trip)!
They replace the ignition coil free of charge as it seems theer is still warranty on it?!
I hope no that this was the problem and not the cylinder head!
Thanks anyway for the link to the cylinder head tread!

Damiano
