Oil Life Monitor Percentage - View From Vehicle?
I have been told by Onstar that the only way to view the Oil Life Monitor's percetage is to wait for my monthly email, and that no one at Onstar has the ability to run that report manually. Is that true? There's no way to get that percentage today? It's all totally computer retrieved?

I called once and they told me they only have the info after email was sent,if you couldnt check your email and the day passed that they checked it they can tell you.
I change it at 6,000 miles with mobil 1 .
Thats apx 50% life left.

thx. Yes, they basically said they could read the email I was sent a few weeks ago. I change mine every 5000. So I am not too worried, but you'd think they could get you that info by just querying the vehicle thru the onstar connection, just like it's done for the email.
