Tuscon Beast,

You will want to check with Sandra at Gobi Racks on the Gobi Ladder and how close it comes to the spare tire carrier. I believe they designed it to allow for the spare tire carrier Gobi ladder to be on the back of an H2 and have enough clearance for it.

Respectfully yours,

Here goes an attempt at uploading the ladder

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space

Hey Gary I was readin' about you wanting to chage pistons on your truck (nice job by the way! Im trying to figure out how to go about putting 2 remote spots on the front hood or air boxes on mine, might be a nice addition to your package for you I'll keep you posted, it's still a young idea, and I'm open to suggestions, but meanwhile...) I was in Burbank at a big seminar the Detriot engineers had, they wanted everyone in the L.A. area to come give them feed back on stuff, and one of the things I asked about was mounting the spare to the gate. I asked them about ribs in the gate for mounting and pistons to lift the weight. They mentioned among other things that the pistons are actually TWO DIFFERENT types. They had a lot of gas pressure problems in testing due to different temps and atmospheres around the country that they had to put in a piston that excelled in cold weather, and a piston that excelled in hot weather to make sure the gate would lift in all conditions. I have no idea what that equates to in pounds of force or any of that propellerhead science, but if you up the pressure by a percentage you may want to measure both pistons and do it equally, good luck
