It's the control nucleus for the whole engine. You didn't touch it did you?

It looks like an inlet air temp sensor. I can't tell where it's at by the pic. Is it in the air inlet tract?

Ruh roh Rastro!

I though it might be a sensor but the more I looked at it the more it looked like a little lightbulb. It's in the left A/C vent in the center/top of the dash.

Whatever it is, it needs a bath. And if the truck starts to shudder while cleaning, I'll then know it's the H spot. (BTW, the truck does has a hymen and I have the picture to prove it.)

Frank -- You are correct! Best sunglasses in the house. They spank the Ray Bans on the beach.

HUMMER Tech says it's a temp sensor. You better put that truck back together before you find the "Black Box".

I was going to post to this last night saying it was the world's smallest light bulb but I thought that sounded stupid!

I personally think it's of the highest tech of GPS locators on earth and you're in deep doo doo!!

Looking at it again, we're right. It's a light bulb. It's there so you can see to clean the dust off the light bulb.

He was in the process of installing a CB antenna and had the dash center console out to run coax.

Ree is correct!

And why, my friend, was I installing a new CB antenna? Could it be because someone (I won't mention names) told me my el-cheapo magnetic base setup was crap?
