Maybe wait for a V8?

I want to get extended waranty from GM on the engine after the work is done in case the new head doesn't fix teh problem down the road.
I think they should really put in a whole new engine not just a new head.

we will see, at least a 07 would have the longer powertrain warn.

Get ready to wait, my Colorado has been in for over 40 days now. Parts are hard to get here in LA I guess

Crap, that sucks man. Mine just started to idle rougher (than normal) a couple days ago - I'm currently in denial, but it seems to be getting worse, no check engine light. Of course, I'm paranoid and hypersensitive about it. 30k miles now, if it goes, I hope it goes soon...

Cool and congrats. Let us know about the power difference/feel in your new 07 vs. the old 06.

Congrats on your new truck !!

Just curious - what was the VIN on your H3 ?

I?m (also) believing to be on the safe side (my VIN is like 1000 above the "problematic", truck is April 06 build) - but what do I know

Thanks !

The power diffrence is noticeable during launch from stop. It is nice to pop off a little better. i belice the cpu is doing things a little diffrent too. Going from base to ADV is alot more diffrent then i thought it would be.
My vin was several thousand past the number posted here in a previous post.
