Default Wowza! Former ambulance

I didn't think Humvees could be registered, but I guess they can. This one has GA plates and is for sale for $48k.

Registering a Humvee can be a bit of a challenge I believe. I think there is some special form that you need and not all Humvee's come with it. That truck comes up for sale from time to time. I think its owned by extreme off road (I think thats their name) out of Atlanta.

I thought you could register them but they weren't street legal anymore because they don't meet DOT standards.

I didn't know there was a difference, but that's what I meant, not being able to drive them legally on the street.

I like the convertible P/U they have on Ebay.

I don't know. The exhaust is missing in the one photo for the deep water fording kit. So either it's there, and it was off in the one photo, or the exhaust was just added. Because there's a lot of stuff that you can't see that goes into the fording kit.

I don't know if this info is still current, but this thread seems to point out some of the issues. If it's heavy enough to be class 3, then it's an issue of whether AMG's lawyers have convinced your state's DMV not to issue a VIN.
