After 9/11 an old CG CPO asked the COMDT to return him to active duty and send him to the Middle East. The COMDT refused and told the old Chief that he had served his time and should just enjoy his golden years. The ole CPO wasn't pleased and wrote the Secretary of Homeland Security with the same request...Her reply was the same as the COMDT. He wrote his congressman with the same request...and again received the same reply. The Chief was livid! He took a train to Virginia Beach, bought a rowboat and set out for the Middle East...singing"Semper Paratus is our guide, Our fame our
Glory too....... at the top of his lungs! Saint Peter had been watching the old Chief and had grown concerned about the Chief's commitment. Saint Peter turned to his God for help. God told him to be merciful and take the Chief's brain...without the thought process the Chief would simply turn around and go home. Saint Peter did so, but the next day the Chief was still rowing and singing. A little frustrated, ST Peter again asked his God what to do. God said "take his heart", even an old "Hooligans Navy" chief can function without his heart. Saint Peter did so...the next day he found the Chief still rowing and singing "Semper Paratus is our guide" at the top of his lungs. Once again Saint Peter went back to his God for advice. God told him to remove the old Chief's testicles. It is a well known fact that the steely eyed killers of the deep can't function without their testicles. Otherwise, what would be the reason for USCG Guardsmen having the worldwide reputation of having the balls to do the impossible. Convinced that this would solve the problem...Saint Peter removed the old Chief's testicles. Again Saint Peter observed the old Chief, this time without brain, heart, or balls..rowing in a never ending circle singing "Anchors aweigh,my boys, Anchors aweigh!!!!!!!!!
