Some of you will recall that the paint on my H2 was keyed in a supermarket parking lot a couple of weeks ago. An interesting thing has emerged -- -- the following conversation nearly always take place when people are admiring my H2:

The person looking at the scratch says, "How did it happen?"

"I came out of the grocery store, and there it was," I reply.

Person, now feeling the scratch, "It was probably one of those eco terrorists or some tree hugger.
I've heard they do this to H2s. What a bunch of [expletive varies; deleted]."

I think seeing and feeling the scar in my weekend family car makes the domestic terrorists seem more real to people. I think I'll leave it there for awhile.

Put a sign on your truck with an arrow pointing to the scratches and a warning to others they could be the next eco-terrorist victim.

Korked:

What response have you gotten from your friends and co-workers regarding the paint being keyed?

Great story, I belive your right, if people see the property of a regular person in the community getting wacked by these useless people it hits home more.

I have RE-READ that over and over... can't seem to find what is left out!?!?!?

But, remember, here in the sticks, we done been learned different than yall have!

Translation of my earlier comment:
If I only knew how to make an animated avitar that you -- the guys -- would enjoy as much as we women enjoy yours (yeah, whatever), things would be good!

What did I miss the first time??? (I am off the pain meds, thankfully, but maybe still a bit looped! )

Yea, but the old cranks blast around the freeways in their diesel pushers, pulling full size chevy trucks and have the balls to make statements about the gas mileage of a hummer? Hoo Boy.
