Default Parts availability

How are you guys doing finding replacement parts? Both factory and aftermarket? I've read a few stories of waiting 7 weeks for things like door panels etc. I'm looking at an 08 but don't want to be stuck holding the bag if something goes wrong in the future.

2008 and 2009 are much easier to find parts for. I guess they made less trucks and parts production was still the same. It seems they stopped making parts for 2003 - 2007 a few years ago.

Mechanical parts are still easy to find, but trim pieces are getting more difficult to find. I had to replace the center console cover and it took 3 weeks to get an NOS one in.

Lack of trim is currently up through the '07's. Being that they are pretty much the same from '03 - '07. I am still looking for an '07 center pillar that I cannot find because they stopped making them already. Don't think you will have any problems with the '08 as of yet.
