Well I have had the Tahoe Z71 for over 2 weeks now and I have to say it has worked out nice for me.I will miss the off-roading capablity of the H3 and the people I have met along the way. Leg room is a big issue for me and thats the biggest reason I changed vehicles.

X2

I am 6'2" and the H3 is only the second vehicle that I recall ever sitting in that I didn't have the seat all the way back.

For tall people I think the luxury package with power seat height adjustment helps. His H3 was a base model.

Also as a family vehicle H3 cargo space and rear seat room is so-so. Used as a 2+2 the H3 works great.

It was leg room between the steering wheel and the door panel that bothered me the most I am 6'1" tall.

Do you mean that you like to sit with your legs far apart and there is not enough room for you do spread you legs comfortably? I have never sat in one so I don't know.

Based on your description, you like to have your left leg bent with your knee up between the wheel and the door right?

Is there really that little room between the steering wheel and the door? I currently drive an F-150 so I use to having a roomy cabin I guess.

It isn't as roomy as an F-150 and the small windows don't help make it feel any bigger. I am perfectly comfortable with the interior size though.

Off-roading capablity + roomy/comfy interior = H2.

I am 6'2" and haven't had an issue with room except for when some one else drives, moves the seat forward and drops the steering wheel.(forgets to put it back)
