Default LT265/75-16

What is the correct H3 tire pressure if the original P tire is replaced with an LT of the same size, Load rating D?

And how does the tire pressure monitoring system know that tires that require much higher pressure are being used? Or do LT tires basically render the low pressure monitoring system useless?

I wouldn't go over 50 psi in them, since you can't carry that much weight.

The low pressure will still tell u if one is going flat even w/ the LT tires.

Default Re: LT265/75-16 - TPM System WORKED!

Bizarre coincidence I asked this yesterday.

So my wife and I go into a restaurant today and then we leave after lunch. Not 1/2 mile down the road, the TPM alarm comes on - the right rear tire is down to 20 psi. No nails. No nothing.

Thank you GM and Hummer for saving our lives.
