Looking to go out tomorrow to test drive (again) and possibly order a new H3. I'm considering a slate blue H3 with Auto,Lux,Off-road Pkg.,trailer Pkg.,Roof lamps,Brush Guard, tube steps,Sunroof, XM, and I'm thinking of Factory Navigation. Also want Black crossbows, not sure what dealer will ask for those.
Am I missing something? Am I over doing it?
If anyone has a Slate Blue with the same exterior options please post pics, the only ones I've seen are strippers.
Thanks

I have the chrome package which looks really nice with my chrome brush guard. I don't have the factory Nav. Instead I bought a Magellan Roadmate 760, which is great for travelling and my wife can use it too. Slate blue was my first choice but I couldn't wait for it to be special ordered.

You can go to the Hummer website and customize one to see what it'll look like with the options on it. One thing you can keep in mind is that they are offering dual headrest DVD player / monitors for very very cheap right now.
I have basically the same exact truck that you're looking to build but in boulder gray, and minus the sunroof. I can say that you have to get the offroad pkg and roof lamps. I think they really make the truck look sharp. I like the look of the larger tires and so far they throw a lot of snow out of the way.
Also, I wouldn't hold your breath on the Navigation. I waited it out for months, and even had one on order before I gave up. They put all navigations on hold, and it doesn't look promising until probably Feb before they get them in. I broke down and bought a portable Garmin C340 instead for 500 bucks and it works great.
I only wish I could have got the deal on DVD headrests like they are offering now. But I guess I bought 2-3 weeks too early.

H3Builder said they were building like 30 with the nav option earlier this week or last week.

That would be cool if they did. I was trying to wait it out, but couldn't hold back anymore. I'm glad we got our H3 when we did, as now I don't hear the complaints when it snowed yesterday about my wife having to drive 5 mph. She had no probs at all. I on the other hand wasn't so lucky, I was stuck at LAX for 12 hours before my flight got in at 8am to O'hare today.

Hahaha, no way. If you want all of the stuff, pile it on.
Mudflaps are a good suggestion, but you can buy them online and put them on yourself, dealer will want $200+ to install. Homelink visor isn't in lux package anymore, it is worth getting. (I think my wife is buying me one for Christmas)
And, personal preference here, but I love my rubber floor mats (and I think the rubber cargo mat will be under the Christmas tree as well).

I'm with Raydog, you may want to punt on the navigation. It's been on hold forever and is way overpriced. You can get a far more capable Garmin (or a TomTom) GPS unit for a 1/3 of the price of the OEM stuff.

It just occured to me that our laptop and GPS navigation program, including aircard for Internet access cost less than the dash-mounted navigation system. I suppose the dash mount may be more convienient but if it breaks....
Best regards and Merry Christmas!
