I think it's sad when less than 300 people can change a companies ad or anything else. At this rate, it will be against the law to say anything in public. You might say something that 1 person would get their feelings hurt. And we would all hate that.

I didn't have a problem with it..but at the same time, I felt in my gut that there may be some outspoken people against it...I guess that's the world we live in...if a GM robot in a commercial jumped off a bridge, would you?

Who said the robot was committing suicide anyways? Looked to me like he was taking advantage of the time off and trying to kick his sadness by going for a swim. He was a stationary robot, meaning it would be impractical to have an internal power source. He would've had to have been plugged in and if his power cord was long enough for the drop, it would still have to be plugged into an outlet with a ground fault interrupter, his power cord probably would've had one built in as well... he would've been fine. He is expensive, there are a lot of safety measures built-in. Lastly, robots don't require oxygen, so he is not drowning himself and it was a short drop with a cushion of water... he is metal, he can take it.

If you ask me, those whackos at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention should just kill themselves already.

I'm so offended by those people who get so offended so easily....
