I have both upper control arms with very low mileage. $40 plus shipping and you can have them.

I have the Cognito uni-call control arms so I longer need the OEM arms

Tomp, I may take you up on that offer. I need to be sure that I have a Ball joint problem first. I dont have the truck right now, it's at Rubberduck4x4. I need to just order the cognito's but I $$$ is tight right now. So I was just thinking about thowing a bandaid at it untill spring. Then I will just do Cognito upper control arm stuff.

I am also wondering if you can press out the old ball joints and press new ones in???

I went with these http://www.blitzkriegoffroad.com/products.asp?section=frontsuspkits_01_UP_CHEVY_HD_ UCA

and these for the tie-rods http://www.blitzkriegoffroad.com/products.asp?section=front_suspension_components_9 9_06_chevy_tierod_upgrade

Cognito and Fabtech parts IMHO just looked weak .

MR I man ,FYI ,anything with heim joints are not the hot ticket for off road. Fabtech or Cognito tie rod ends are your best bet.

Thats interesting Ira, since every chase truck and trophy truck uses them in The 1000. To each their own I was just providing some advice to a forum member not entering a pissing contest.
