Probably well over 100K. But if you're willing to spend 90K on a POS Dodge that can't turn...isn't it worth it??? I'll be willing to bet that the Z06 (not the SS, ZR-1, Blue Devil, etc...) will still kick the Vipers ass on a track.

Corvettes ROCK!!!

I'd be driving one if I didn't like my license and insurance.

I just read something interesting:

The Z06 does the 1/4 in 12.1, the Viper in 11.9.
The Z06 pulls .97 on the skid pad, the Viper pulls 1.1.

I guess getting rid of the runflat tires the Viper used to have really helps. And I bet the new monster rotors are really going to help.

Lots of improvements have been made to the chassis. And without all the hype that GM went through with the 'vette.

R&T even said the car is track ready.

What an imrovement, huh?

Oh, does the 'vette have the pu$$y a$$ traction control like so many grocery getters?

The Viper doesn't have any of that crap.

So the 1966 Dragonsnake is quicker ...41 years later

Those were the days. I'd still like to get a Buick GS Stage 1 from that era.

If 2 tenths in the quarter mile is the deciding factor of what makes a car "better" than another, then you might as well by some POS civic, trrick it out and put some NOS on it if straight line speed is all you want. 2 tenths can easily be made up by a decent driver.

Oh, does the 'vette have the pu$$y a$$ traction control like so many grocery getters? Hell yes it does, makes driving it in the snow a hell of a lot easier.

Are you going to come up with any real rationale why the Viper is better or is this all going to be about quarter mile times???

I'm sure when GM comes out with the ZR-1, and puts it head to head with the 600HP viper, the results will be the same.

I'm with the Chevy crowd in this whole debate, but that video doesn't do much more than prove that your ex-gf is a much better driver than the guy in the Viper...and even that is not saying much because he absolutely sucked.
