Default Am I wrong about this?

My 5 H2 has an air ride system. So it will keep setting the back a predetermined ride height... right? If this is the case then when I rise up the front end Torsion key lift, won?t this also engage the system to compensate for the angle difference? Does this make since to anyone?? And if this is the case then it?s safe to assume that you can adjust the ride height in the back to lower it to level out the front end... right??

Need advice!

The truck will level out if you raise the front enough.

But the more you adjust it, the worse the ride will become.

Be sure to get an alignment after 50 miles or so.

The air adjusts for load in the rear.

well, the rear ride height is adjusted by a sensor in the rear, by the shock assembly. It's height is only, i believe, is adjusted by that sensor, not the front versus rear angle. So, if you want to, let say raise the rear end, i would think that by raising the set point of that sensor, the rear will raise higher to reach its set point.

the rear sensor is set at the factory to keep the truck "level" under normal driving conditions...if the front is raised high enough, the rear will raise...this would keep the airbags with having more air in them than they would with a normal front end hieght and may cause some unexpected wear on the air system...it would also limit the amout of "rear raise" when the air system button is engaged.....
