As reported today by GM on CNN NEWS:
There is currently a 91 day supply of 2003 H2's sitting around. Look for $3000 to $4000 dollars off of sticker and 0% to start soon!!

Whats really funny is when I went to West Covina rally, they had 5 to 7k markup on each hummer. I saw a base msrp 48k and they wanted 54k

I have never heard of someone paying $115,000 for an H1. H1's have never sold for list. They were always discounted.

GM moves to clear out Hummer stocks
No. 1 automaker offers $2,000 in incentives as it faces 91-day inventory on large SUV.
August 26, 2003: 11:38 AM EDT
NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - With a big supply of Hummer H2s on hand, General Motors is offering dealer incentives in a bid to clear out its inventory of the hulking sport/utility vehicles.
The cash incentives are designed to help sell the remaining 2003 H2s, GM spokesman Pete Ternes said. Despite the current inventory glut, the world's No. 1 automaker maintains that Hummer sales are on track, noting it began offering the incentives Aug. 1 to clear room for its 2004 models.
GM sold 2,602 H2s in July, up 33 percent from a year earlier and has a 91-day supply of about 9,141 vehicles on hand. Dealers were offering incentives of $2,000, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the story Tuesday, noting that GM had just a 13-day supply of H2s at the end of December.
"We've been pretty consistent on our sales," Ternes told the newspaper. "It is easier to sell a 2004 than a 2003. This gives dealers the ability to clear out the 2003 inventory."
The H2 has a base price of about $48,000 and is GM's most accessorized vehicle, with the average Hummer buyer spending $2,000 on accessories, the Journal reported.
Hummers have been a target of environmentalists for their high fuel consumption. About 50 of the vehicles were vandalized Friday in a Los Angeles-area dealership, some with anti-SUV slogans.
General Motors (GM: down $0.09 to $38.37, Research, Estimates) stock edged higher in morning New York Stock Exchange trading.

There's a "news section"? I guess that's news to me.

Happens soon or later to every vehicle made... we are no longer so rare that they can't discount it. It is just market forces at work preparing for the next H2, H3, or what ever is down the pipe.

Oh look, HM blew hot air again. What a suprise. The only "fact" he got right was the 91 day supply.
I don't see anything in the article about $3-4K off or 0% financing. Those must be some "insider extraordinaire" numbers. Pfffft!!

My local dealer has maybe 20 or so left. Will sell some at or near invoice but nicely appointed (i.e., anything with a sunroof) they are only discounting about $1500.
I just downloaded a coupon from a not-so-local dealership offering $8000 off sticker for all H2's on the lot. Don't know how much add-on stuff they've put on them so it may not be such a great deal.
BTW, they are discounting the H1's $25,000.

Hi all. New member and bought my H2 Aug 2nd. Won't do business with the local Vegas dealer and found what I wanted online at Edmark Hummer in Nampa Idaho. All prices are published online and they stick with it. Won't take a penny more or less and absolutely no hard sell. Called them on Friday night, gave them a credit card to hold the H2, $141.00 airline ticket and the salesman picked me up at the airport in the H2. 45 minutes to sign the papers and I was on my way back home. Most pleasant vehicle purchase I ever made. If anyones looking, check www.edmarkhummer.com $5,100 off MSRP They're great people.
Lux, Pewter, Sunroof, Brush guards, etc, etc.
And absolutely love it!

Hey Dan, Is everybody else in the forum lieing to??
The going price on a LUX or ADV package is a net of MID- 40's pricing! All day long there are postings of brand new units on EBAY and examples like the post before me by DICE MAN.
They all show $5000 to $8000 dollars savings!
I was being conservative in my statement.
Dan I dont know what Rock you crawled out from under but I only wish I had Driven Over it with my H2 before you got out so I could of seen your head burst like a melon! It is quite eveident that you can't read because there are 100's of people saying they have gotten this deal and better.
Now go wash the H2 so your boyfriend doesnt get mad at you!

I am curious .... I wonder how many news correspondents and/or news writers have ever driven or at least had a ride in a Hummer ??? I bet if they did, they would be much more positive.
Regarding the 91 day supply, have you been to a Toyota, Ford, or Chevy dealership recently or even a Chrysler dealership and noticed the amount of vehicles on the lots ?
We were visiting friends in San Diego over the weekend ..... went to the Porsche dealership with my friend and he inquired about a Boxter S .... they offered him $6000.00 off and 2.9% 66 month financing .... or a lease at $449.00 and something a month for 3o months .... not just Hummers ... I did ask about a trade in value on a 2003 H2 .... they said "depending" of course, but roughly $38,000.00.
