My dad and I made it through the day without gettin tapped on the shoulder(fired). hope i'm lucky again tomorrow. I saw a co-worker being escorted out and heard of a few more that were asked to leave. Some were friends  . I hope they do ok. this really sucks. |

Still a GM worker, but we were informed today, our group will be targeted later in the month of April. 
I'm at the point in my life, it would not bother me too much. I just wish they would get it all over with as soon as possible.
I'm planning on getting out in two or three years anyway, so if they gave me a 15 month severance package, I guess I could not complain too much. Hell, they already f'ed up my pension.

Glad to hear you are still there fstop but sure wish they would let you know what the hell is going to happen. Does being within a year or two from leaving anyway make you more likely to be offered the package to leave? That is what they are doing right, offering a lump sum to walk away?
