Default NOISY FRONT LEFT TIRE/SUSPENSION

1999 WAGON I HAVE HAD IT SINCE IT WAS ALMOST NEW 3400 MIILES I NOW HAVE 45000 AND I WAS RUNNING PJ DIRT GRIPS 37X12.5X16.5 AND SEEMED TO BE WORKING FINE THEN MED-VED HUMMER IN CASTLE ROCK COLORADO ROTATED AND BALANCE ABOUT 18 MONTHS AGO AND I HAVE HAD A SHIMMY AT SPEED EVER SINCE EVEN A CLUNKING KIND OF NOISE I HAVE HAD MY OWN CERTIFIED HUMMER MECHANIC LOOK AT IT AND HE SEES NOTHING WRONG W/ THE FRONT LEFT COMPONENTS I REMENMBER READING ABOUT HOW WEAK THE STEERING COMPONENTS ARE HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE IDLER ARM OR OTHER STEERING COMPONENTS I JUST HAD SOME 37X12.5X16.5 MTR MOUNTED AND BALANCED BY DISCOUNT TIRE IT SEEMS BETTER BUT STILL SOME CLUNKING NOISE IN THE LEFT FRONT END I GET NO FEEDBACK IN THE STEERING WHEEL ANY INPUT WILL HELP

Also, this may sound dumb but the clunking could very well be your hood. The hood snubbers go out over time and will cause clunking over bumps and things. RuberDuck4x4 sells a new kit for $50. You might want to check that out.
