Annual OHV Management Workshop hosted by the Colorado Off Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO)
Jun 15, 2007
By: Press Release

BLUERIBBON COALITION ACTION ALERT!
Attention Colorado Recreationists!
Just a quick note about the Annual OHV Management Workshop hosted by the Colorado Off Highway vehicle Coalition (COHVCO). Brian says "The guys over at COHVCO may be a little goofy looking (just kidding), but they run the best OHV workshops in the nation."
He ought to know, he has been to most of them. The workshops will be conducted on two different dates in two different locations, so make plans now.
I have pasted in a copy of the notice below; please take a couple of minutes to read over the information.
Thanks in advance for your involvement,
Ric Foster
Public Lands Department Manager

With the ongoing USFS Regional Implementation of the National OHV Rule and the new direction of BLM Resource Management Plans That are also going to designated routes, a majority of this workshop will be focused on empowering volunteers to be organized in their efforts and be provided with the proper tools and information for creating volunteer opportunities in land stewardship.

Bebe, I really believe your heart is in the right place, but Blue Ribbon isn't what you and so many others believe.

Please check them out in depth and see who their supporters really are and why BR is supported by them.

Nothing like getting land deemed unprotected and open for use so a big company can move in and mine it, drill it, and fell the trees. That's pretty.

Not to mention the property will be unusable for wheeling, filled with nothing but mining roads or the equivalent.

Don't support Blue Ribbon!

This course is about learning how to be a steward of the Land, and bringing all the agencys involved together, and learning how to communicate with each other, not the BRC.
