Line X'd front grill - $350?
Took the grill off and went down to the closest line x dealer. I was expecting to spend around $80 like everyone else has said they have. They ended up quoting me $250 for the job and then another $100 for the Line x X-tra. What gives? The next closest dealer that deals with the X-tra is around 50 miles away.

...and that is why you are getting such a high quote. I'd suggest calling the other dealer and quoting over the phone. I took mine down and got a quote of around $120, more than others, but not as bad as yours. If you can get a good deal from the other dealer, have them fax/email you the quote and take it to the local Line-X and see if they will price-match. Good luck! |

The guy thinks your H3 cost $60,000 + and you could swing the marked up price.

I got a quote of $150 that I thought was high. I only checked at one place that I happened to drive by. There's enough competition around me I'm sure I could get it lower.

The line-x xtra has dupont kevlar in it so it is puncture and abrasion resistant and has UV protection so it fades less. |
