If you get a moment, could you take some pics of how they are mounted? I'm just wondering where would be best to mount the ballast as the entire hood flips forward.

6000K are the whitest and brightest. Any higher and it gets bluer.
I like 6000K or 8000K

The K value of both the h2 lights above and my porsche lights above are 10,000K. Note this is only for the brand that I bought on both with was KLIGHT off ebay

A different brand could have a totally different color. From experience with this brand on 2 different cars 10,000K is the closests color to factory HIDs in audi, cadillac and lamborghini. The aftermarket 4300 and 6000 from this brand are pretty much white with no blue in them at all, and all upscale factory HIDs have blue or purple in them, my escalade has alot of blue and some purple in them, also see pic of my lambo -->

I'll take pics of the mounted ballasts when I get a chance.

Mine are 7,000 degrees Kelvin. They are blue-white. Just a tinge of blue. I like them a lot. When I can get pix I will post, but my recollection is that there are flat panel areas on the inside of the front of the hood (behind the grill) next to the headlamp housings where they will just fit nicely using 3M tape.

The ballasts dont touch at all when the hood is closed and are out of the way of rain.

ok put the LED lights in the DRL spot and also did the mod to have them stay on thanks to Tower on his guide on the 08 mod for this here are the lights.

We bought another pair already on ebay for $5 plus 5$ shipping! Man I have to say theyre pretty amazing for $10. AN upgrade over the stock OEM DRL lights which are a joke. Theres actually 24 lights I believe, 16 facing forward and 8 facing sideways that reflect off the back reflector.

Jimmy, your H2 is looking awesome! Where can I find the write-up to keep my DRL lights on with the headlights on?

I just got the KLIGHT HID for my headlights (hi and Lo beam) The instructions say that you have to cut the hole bigger at the back of the headlight bucket then glue the bulb in!! Is this right? Let me know if I got the wrong kit.

Hey PTEAM, Are your DRL's now brighter with the led than the stock bulb. I would like to install these bulbs then turn my headlights off in the city. My HID's on a lifted truck kinda reminds me of a Police spot light on the car in front of me at every stoplight! So are they bright enough to drive without the headlights on??

Cool Re: putting HID lights into the DRL fog lamps slot

check your grounds. Both ballasts?? seems unlikely. I would test voltage going into ballasts. The adapter that plugs into the headlight connector is well "cheap" its easy for the prongs to bend over.
