Default H3 Factory Headrest DVD --no sound ....

...without headphones on??? I can only hear the sound from movie in headphones , and the volumebuttons on remote doesn?t respond....
Is that correct?
Cant see any kind of speaker on DVD headrests though - so can?t figure out where sound should come from anyway.... Thought like sound come from car speakers - but that doesn?t make sense either...

Is my DVD System screwed - or is funtion correct? Help!

Thanxx // Johan

If this setup is like the one in the H2, you get sound from the headphones only.

...without doing other mods.

I've got the factory DVD system....and you can get sound through the car speakers. It's called "sound around select"...you tune your FM transmitter to one of 6 channels - 88.3, 88.7, 89.1, 89.5, 89.9 or 90.3, and you should get the sound through the car speakers for whatever dvd is playing.

Hope that helps!

Yes, that's right. Look on your remote, aim it at the DVD screen and press the FM Source (select driver dvd or passenger side) .. and then select which frequency (one of the presets listed above) .. then set your radio channel to the station you selected. Make sure you have your volume turned up higher to hear, otherwise you may not know it's coming over the speakers. If you still can't figure it out, post again and I'll try to find the instruction booklet. I traded my H3 in for an H2 .. but I think I still have the instructions around for the H3 unit.
