Default Tubular assist step removal

Ok, I have been searching this forum and the open internet and I can't find this out. I want to remove the step bars but I am afarid that if I unbolt it, I will loose a nut inside the frame. How does this work? Can I just unbolt and not worry? Anybody else with an H3 done this. The H2 is different by the way.

^^What he said^^ also, mine were 15mm nuts. 4 on each side it should only take you 15 mins to remove. Have a friend help you hold them up as you remove the last 2 bolts. It's worth it.
