Alright, I have another water leak, in a different area. Seems to be very similar to the one VTSTOMPER had. If I go to the carwash I can hear water running in the passenger side A-pillar, there is water in the channel under the door sill plate, and the run & pad are wet.

My 3 center lights are already siliconed so I doubt it's one of them. I removed the corner light and noticed a split in the plastic next to the torx head bolt. Is that supposed to be there or is it a crack? I can't tell.

I'm going to bring it in, probably next week but want to get it fixed up for the time being.

I had the same problem with mine. Check your silicon at all the lights. I found that the jetdryer at the car wash blasts the hell out of the lights since the H2 is so tall. It toasted my factory foam after about a year, and then pulled up one of the weaker silicon seal jobs I had done. Good luck.

My 03 H2 leaked on the driver's side down the from the visor down the pillar to the floor... .. I hope they fixed it in 06... (my new SUT)

Good luck, just wanted you to know I had a leak too. It wasn't in carwashes, just during good rains and when a lot of snow sat on the roof front for prolonged periods of time...

I never had water in the top of the A-pillar like I thought but it still sounded like I did. However it was in the bottom, and coming from that damn wiring harness.

I have that spit under my running lamp screw too - but nothing is coming from there. I took my lamps out, and sealed those with Permatex around the rubber grommet.

I will tell you, the door harness is quickly done. Pull the rubber back (but do not pull it off the plastic), and squeeze the two clips to pop it out.

Put RTV Permatex around the ID and OD of the clip. I pushed it back on, and sealed around the rubber with it. I have not had in issue after that.

I hope that helps. I imagine that is where it might be coming from. The water will channel right down there when it rains, going over the rubber harness.

I just got around to it last night, and it went sh!tty. How do you get the rubber boot back on to whatever its attached to?

I put black RTV on the plastic ring and popped it back in. Then I tried to get the boot back on and it wouldn't attach. It got the RTV all over it (and my hands) and turned slippery. Does it attach to the white ring or to the door metal? I see those 2 "buttons" on the boot labeled PUSH, but that didnt do chit.

How did you get the boot back on????

Hey Dan!

Sorry for the delay - the boots are a pain if they fall off. One of mine came off the plastic clip. I remember I fought it for a bit, and I thought I was doing it all right, but no. You need to pull the rubber if I remember right, and it will secure around the plastic. You might be able to put the clip in and then toss the boot on. Have you tried that? I remember I fought with mine, but it was cold and dark...I got it right, but I was not sure how I got it. I will go look more tomorrow...(too dark now)
