I seem to be seeing more H3's than H2's, are people trading into an H3?

Highly unlikely.

Because H3's are more affordable even my brother who is at a much lower income bracket can afford one.

I think Timgco is the only one known so far to trade to an H3. I haven't seen any real proof of H3's off-road ability (You can't count Hummer Happenings ) but I think Tim will be the first since he is of the original Moab core.

Wifey wants an H3 for shopping and driving the kids around. With the 5 cylinder engine, it's awsome on gas and safe for loved ones.

Here in NY Its about a 10 to 1 ratio (H2's to H3's). Im sure with the price difference that gap will close quickly.

I have a freind that has an H2 that he hardly drives, one reason is the poor gas milage and he makes alot of money and he still complais about the milage.
I do think in the comming years you will see the H3 out sell the H2 by 10 to 1.

I know this sounds nit picky, but the only falt I see with the H3 is no sterring wheel controls, that is an important thing to me.

I just found out how to keep the girl from driving the H2, let it run low on gas! She hates filling it. She's driving the P/U which gets around 14 on a good day... downhill.... with the wind...

H3's are selling 2x H2's quantities and many H3 buyers are trading in non-GM vehicles.

I am one of the H3 buyers that traded in a Toyota and had never owned a GM vehicle before. I can afford an H2 but never wanted to drive such a huge vehicle on a daily basis. I prefer to use my Porsche as a weekend toy and the H3 as my daily driver (with some light offroading and ski trips occasionally).

I scored an H3 over the July4th weekend when my wife liked it so much that she offered to pay for 1/2 the cost. So I traded in my Toyota Highlander and drove home the H3 that weekend.

We got our H3 on Dec. 3rd and consider it a Christmas gift to each other.

Our '99 Ford Taurus got smashed in the "War of the Worlds" movie and we had sold our '92 Aerostar in June. We are down to one car, being retired and the H3 will do everything with a lot bigger "fun factor".

Best regards,
