Hey all...just received my H3 and I love it. One question at this time however. Is it normal to get transmission noise and vibration in the cab? It seems a little tense when shifting into 2nd and 3rd. You can really feel it through the accelerator pedal...

Thanks...

I would say no. Plus I have read articles that the shifting is smooth. How fast were you accelerating when this happened? If normal driving definetly no.

Not fast at all...you notice it more when you let it shift up when going slow....

Does not sound normal to me either. Have the dealer test drive it.

I say you need to bring it in ASAP for a service tech to check it out. My wife got her H3 about 3 weeks ago. Its the Adventure Pckg with the automatic transmission and Ive driven it several times (When she lets) And I have notice no vibration, noise or any other abnormalities. Im rather impressed with the truck. Id get it checked out if its that noticable. JMHO

One thing I have noticed in mine is when going like 60+ and then letting off the gas(while approaching traffic/cars I can feel a slight lunge as if the ring gear and pinion have a slight amount of play sometimes the transition/decelleration...it isnt fluid/smooth could be normal, definately not all the time but I do notice it...anyone else notice this?

Only 800 miles on her could be the ring gear and pinion hasnt seated yet?

I've noticed that too come to think of it. This could be a normal thing however, I will take it in to be checked out.....
