<FONT color=#0000ff>"THE FUNLANDS</FONT><FONT color=#0000ff>"</FONT> is a great and very REAL offroad hummer video, it's not Hollywood fluff! There was no safety net for these guys... 4 H1's, 1 H2, and a Jeep take it on the chin!</P>

<FONT color=#0000ff>"THE FUNLANDS"</FONT> is volume2 of our "ONE PERCENTER" series of videos for the hard core Hummer H1 enthusiast! This a lot offootage... Lots of rock grinding here, and a lot of darn scarey sideways sliding over frozen mud!</P>

That information has been edited out!!)</FONT></P>

<FONT color=#000000><FONT color=#0000ff>THE FUNLANDS</FONT>are a harecoreH1 playground. Everything there reflects it: the swimming hole ruts, the 5 foot boulders, the 70 degree hill climbs, and the list goes on. To venture in with anything less than an H1 is a little bit nuts. </FONT></P>

<FONT color=#0000ff>"THE FUNLANDS"... </FONT><FONT color=#000000>includes a lot of winching, recovery, scraping, crawling, sliding, and some downright frightening experiences. Everybody got winched, strapped, or otherwise recovered.</FONT></P>

<P align=center><FONT color=#0000ff><FONT size=5>NIGHT FOOTAGE!! </FONT></FONT></P>

This video was shot in high-resolution digital video with stereo sound. You hear the mud splatter, the frames groan, see the tire smoke, the rock shatter, the chainsaw roar, and the trees fall!</P>
<P align=center><U>BONUS!! - Cutting room floor section included after the final credits!</U></P>

If the server hosting the video is too busy... you can fill a few minutes watching the teaser...

Here's a link to the teaser for the video...

Hello Dan,

You are so right! It was worth the window... George, Lenn, Jason, and Bill were really cool to go wheeling with...

I'm still smiling!

Charles

Painful to watch you wheel man.

Sorry to say but H2 representation was not there.

-You seemed like you already quit before you even started.

-You were definitely relying on the H1s to pull you out. Thus your lack of agressivness.

-Tires. And did you air down at all?

-Dipstick white H1 NEVER gaves you enough room out of the ruts leaving you no choice but to get stuck.

-Sackless wheelin.

-Sackless wheelin.

-Sackless wheelin.

-Upgrading to an H1 won't make a difference if you're a sackless driver.

-I guess we were all beginners at one time but this one was beyond you NOT YOUR H2.

VERY.....EXTREMELY painful to watch a bunch of seasoned vets let an inexperienced driver tag along.

I didn't see anything in that video that would have stopped an H2 and a capable driver (One who accepts the reality of carnage 100% which you did not and the H1s did).

Painful to watch. Painful. I'll not be saving this video. Your actions almost seem INTENTIONAL if not sackless.

The video editing was great BTW. The 70s porn music could have used some work.

<span class="ev_code_RED">It's crap like this that make us behave more and more irrational with every trip to Moab.</span>

Don't take it personal buddy. It needed to be said. And don't think of upgading. The H2 can do pretty much the same as the H1.

You really don't think the extra ground clearance of the H1 made a difference here? You are putting it all on the driver? I thought that the extra clearance of the H1 kept it from getting hung up in the muck. I do agree on the tires, and that shipbldr approached the big mud hole (where he got delayed bigtime) a little slow but not sure it would have made a difference.

These are honest questions, I am definitely a rookie and want to learn from others.

Dennis,

There's a big difference between sackless and reckless.

I don't need to wreck my truck to feel like a man or prove who I am.

Actually I'm pretty proud of the fact that I think my way through things, work along, and am not too proud to accept a tow (or winch out) as I explore the limits of my truck.

I clearly do not accept the possibility of 100% carnage. Never said I did.

When you have a 250 mile drive home and no trailer... why risk transmission loss.. When you know you can get a tug of you need it?

I not not here to impress you or live up to your standards. I am here to enjoy my truck.

What exactly is it that you have to prove by dumping on me?

You are clearly insecure and trying to prove yourself by crapping on others.

You might have an great truck.
You might be willing to wreck it on the trail.
You might have a lot of experience.

But in the end, your willingness to dump on me and other here at the board proves 1 thing

On the inside you are an INSECURE PUSSY that constantly worries about how he comepares to others.

Go F*** yourself. I am not here to live up to your standards. Neither is anyone else on the board.

This is about having fun, and you are not helping.

You are exactly what most of the newbies on this board need to try to avoid.

Go back to the mall.

Great question!

I could have (and should have) hit the mudhole faster... but still would have hung up.

I looked at it, knew I was going to snag up any which way it went, and decided I would rather get high centered gently. The factory protection is good... but by no means bullet proof.

Dennis is just in a bad mood. (He'll be in a worse mood when he reads my reply...)

Don't let the airbags on the board push you around... Take your time, enjoy your truck on your own terms, and do what you are comfortable with.

I'm having a blast!
